Slavný bývalý fotbalový hráč anglického klubu Manchester United David Beckham přijel do Singapuru a setkal se s 60 místními dětmi a studenty ze singapurské asociace neslyšících.

Jako součást své návštěvy, v neděli 7. července ráno 38letý celosvětově známý hráč věnoval skoro hodinu na ostrově Marina Bay Sands fotografům, kde pózoval a poskytl dětem svůj podpis. Podepsal také dres z fotbalového francouzského klubu Paris Saint – Germain. Jeho dres bude vydražen na aukci a peníze budou darovány ostrovu.
